Join Our Team: Care Attendants in Lorn and the Isles

We’re on the lookout for caring individuals to support unpaid carers and the individuals they care for in rural areas of Lorn and the Isles. Providing even a brief respite can significantly improve the well-being of both carers and those they care for, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

About You: We seek upbeat, caring individuals who are dedicated to helping unpaid carers and their loved ones live their best lives. While an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 is desirable, it is not essential. However, you must be committed to obtaining this qualification to meet SSSC requirements. A valid driving license, business insurance, and access to a car with up-to-date MOT are essential for this role.

Your Role: As a Care Attendant, you will provide essential respite for unpaid carers, allowing them a well-deserved break without worrying about their loved ones. You will support individuals either in their own homes or in the community, as directed by your manager. Activities will be tailored to each service user, following their personal care plans, and conducted in alignment with Health and Social Care Standards, as well as our policies and health and safety protocols.

Hours: This position is sessional, with hours determined by the need for respite care.

If you’re ready to make a difference in the lives of carers and their families, we would love to hear from you!
