Crossroads North Argyll Office is closed until further notice.
Crossroads North Argyll Board and Manager have taken the difficult decision to cease face-to-face respite for unpaid carers. As we are now back into full lockdown, we have to protect unpaid Carers, the cared-for and our staff.
We will provide phone calls. We will also do doorstep visits if this is required and collect groceries and prescriptions again if this is also required.
If you are concerned or require support as an unpaid carer please telephone us on 01631 562277 or alternatively you can telephone North Argyll Carers Centre on 01631 564422.
Carers who require PPE - Please call Linda Duncan to discuss your eligibility - 01631 564543
We are working with
North Argyll Carers Centre
Crossroads (North Argyll) is a locally managed charity in North Argyll covering Oban, Lorn and the Isles.
We aim to provide a local respite service to enable those looking after a relative/friend/neighbour to have some time to themselves.
Even a brief period of respite can benefit the Carer to cope better in their daily lives. This helps to promote and maintain independence and choice for both the individual Carer and the Cared-for.
We are supported by Argyll and Bute Council
We are affiliated to Crossroads Sotland
We are registered with Care Inspectorate Scotland and The Scottish Social Services Council
